Books that can't be renewed online have most likely been reserved by someone else (this is what 'on hold' means). If so:
- You will need to return the book by the due date because you cannot renew books that have been reserved.
- Fines of £3.50 per day overdue are charged on reserved books, so please do return the book promptly.
