It can be accessed through Aston University Library Databases  and is available through your browser or on Android and iOS as an app.

How do I download the Visible Body: Human Anatomy Atlas 2020 app?

On Campus – To download the app on campus:

• Firstly, make sure your iOS or Android device is logged into the Aston University Wi-Fi network
• Open Aston University Library Search and search for ‘visible body human anatomy atlas’ (alternatively you can also find the link here Visible Body) 
• Select the link ‘Access to Visible Body: Human Anatomy Atlas (App link)’ in the top search result (alternatively you can find the link here Visible Body)
• Select ‘Instructions for ON CAMPUS download and activation’
• Follow the Visible Body link to install the app from either the App Store or Google Play
• To have uninterrupted access to the app please make sure you open your app when you're on campus and logged into the Aston University network once every 150 days

Off Campus – To download the app off campus, when you are away from Aston University:

• Find Visible Body: Human Anatomy Atlas 2020 (alternatively you can find the link here Visible Body)
• Select the link ‘Access to Visible Body: Human Anatomy Atlas (App link)
• An OpenAthens login screen will appear.  In the 'Find your organisation' box enter ‘Aston University’
• Select ‘Aston University’ when the option appears and then login with your Aston University username and password when prompted
• Select ‘Instructions for OFF CAMPUS download and activation’
• Select the icon for the Visible Body app under the displayed instructions
• In the pop up that appears enter and submit your Aston University email address. Notice that a ‘Verification Code’ field appears. Leave this web page open
• Check your email for a verification code. Copy the verification code to your clipboard. Paste it into the ‘Verification Code’ field on the web page and submit
• Take note of the username and password provided as you will need it once you have downloaded the app. You will also receive these details in an email
• Use the link provided to download the mobile app
• Launch the app. On the activation screen enter the username and password provided
