In addition to the Library you will find a range of study spaces across the Main Building depending on what you need.

The main building is 24/7 excluding bank holidays and university closure days.

 

Social study space 

This mixed space based on the upper ground floor of the main building, offers a range of study space for individual and group work including access to screens and kitchen area including microwave and facilities to make hot drinks.

 

Quiet study space 

A quiet study space based on the 7th floor this space is for whispered conversation and phones on vibrate.  You will find study spaces, a kitchen area including facilities to make hot drinks, lockers for temporary storage.

There are rooms that can be booked by Postgraduate Research Students if the room is not booked it is free to use until the next booking. These rooms can be booked using the booking pads outside the rooms.

 

Computer suites

Computer rooms are available on the ground floor of the Main Building at the back of the Social Study Space rooms:

  • MBG 52 Quiet Open Access Computer Suite
  • MBG 54 Quiet Open Access Computer Suite
  • MBG 57 Postgraduate Computer Suite
