Kortext encourages its partner publishers to supply accessible PDFs and ePUBs through publisher agreements.  Kortext readers can display the following files, PDF, ePUB2 and ePUB3. All ebooks allow a zoom on pages via the display options.

Screen readers

Kortext test their web app with the following screen readers NV Access, JAWS, TalkBack and VoiceOver.

Advanced accessibility features

Some titles will be enhanced interactive e-books and offer more accessibility features, such as:

  • Different fonts and font sizes
  • Different background colours
  • Viewing the book in single or double page
  • Scrolling through the book

If the book offers these features you can access them under the display options in the top right hand corner of the screen when in a browser.
