If you are an Aston Alumnus or a member of the SCONUL access scheme, you can register as a visitor to the Library you will need to come to the Library in person to complete an application:
- Monday-Friday 08:30-18:00
- Weekends - 10:30-17:00
Please note applications cannot be made on University closed days or bank holidays please check Library opening hours for more more information.

You will be able to:
- Borrow up to 6 books at any one time (these must be returned on time or renewed, to avoid fines).
- Check your library account online, your username will be the email address you registered with, the first time you login will be asked to set a password. You can use your account to check loans or reserve books.
- Use the Library for study purposes. See the Library opening hours.
- WiFi access
- Aston Alumni members can access wifi via The Cloud.
- SCONUL members can use the eduroam network using the log in credentials of their home university.
- Printers, computers and laptops are not available to visitors you are welcome to bring your own device.
