You can use the printers in the library to print and photocopy on A4 or A3. You can also scan to email. You will need to be an Aston student or member of staff. Tap your uniCARD on the printers, to access your account, the first time you do this you will be prompted to login using your Aston username and password.

Printing from your own device

If you are printing from your own laptop, tablet or phone, when you are on campus you can upload your documents to your print queue using myuniprint.aston.ac.uk/user.

  • Choose the web print option on the left hand side menu upload your document
  • Go to a printer to print your document using your uniCard

You will need to be connected to the Aston Connect Wi-Fi network for this to work.

All new students are given an initial £20 printing credit when they join the university, and then £4 per month thereafter. This is an appropriate amount to cover the printing requirements for your study.

If you run out of credit then please contact the Digital Services Helpdesk where they can advise on how to obtain additional credit.

Any queries on your printing account, please contact the Digital Services Helpdesk via email solve@aston.ac.uk via phone 0121 204 3445 or speaking to a member of the at the Digital Services Helpdesk on the ground floor of the Main Building.
