Borrow
You can borrow up to 35 print books at a time. eBooks, journal articles and databases can be found on Library Search, which can be accessed on the library homepage: aston.ac.uk/library.
There are self-issue machines on the ground floor and second floor of the Library, which you can use to issue or return a book. You will need your uniCARD to borrow books, but you don't need it to return books.
Renew
The Library system will renew your books automatically every 7 days, there is a limit of 26 renewals, provided there isn't a reservation placed on the book.
If a book that you have is reserved, you will receive an email asking you to return it. In this case, if you do not return the book by the date stated in the email, you will be charged £1.00 a day for each day overdue.
It is a good idea to regularly check your Library Account to help with managing your loans and to check which books you have.
