If you would like to reserve a book, the first thing you need to do is find the record via Library SmartSearch.  If we look for

Slack, N., Brandon-Jones, A., & Johnston, R. (2016). Operations management. Harlow, England : Pearson, 2016.

When you have found the book you would like to read, click on the title of the book.  This opens the full record in Library SmartSearch.  All copies of the book have to be out on loan before you can place a reservation.  A reference copy can be on the shelf.  If there is a copy on the shelf but you can not locate it please seek assistance at the Help desk on the ground floor of the Library.

Scroll down to the box called "Place Reservation" and click on the green tick

This opens a new window and links you to the reservation screen.  Log in with your Aston University username and password and the book will be reserved for you.

You can log in to "My Library Record" to check on your reservations and see where you are in the queue.
