The Library has a number of different licenses for eBooks which are set by the publisher for each individual title.  There are usually the following licences

(a) Single User Licence - this is where one person can log in to the book at any one time.

(b) Multi-User Licence - this is where 3 people can log in to the book at exactly the same time.

(c) Unlimited Licence-  this is where anyone can log in to the book at exactly the same time.

If you try and access an eBook and all the licences are in use, you will be notified by a message popping up on the screen.  Usually, you are requested to try again later.  The Library monitors usage on eBook titles and how many people have been asked to wait for access to an eBook and we will purchase more licences.

If you are unable to access an eBook title please let your Information Specialist know so that they can investigate and purchase additional licences.
