All books that are listed on reading lists are classed as 7-day loan items because they are likely to be in high demand. The Library cannot provide one copy of each book for every student who needs it, so 7-day loans are used in order to circulate the books around as many students as possible.
If you are on placement, you may wish to see which ebooks are available, as you can access these from off-campus. If you do a keyword search on the Library SmartSearch, you can limit your results just to ebooks using the filters on the left-hand side of the page. If there is a book that the Library only has in 7-day loan format, you may like to email your Information Specialist to discuss the possibility of purchasing an ebook version of the book.
